Terms of Use

By signing up to Mayo Rishtay you agree to these terms. They are intentionally short and plainly written. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Who can use the platform

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must be sincerely looking for marriage (nikah), not casual relationships.
  • You must be from the Mayo Rajput biradari.
  • You must use your real name and accurate biodata.

2. What you may not do

  • Create fake profiles, use fake names, or misrepresent your age, marital status, education, family, or profession.
  • Use the platform for any non-matrimonial purpose (selling, advertising, scamming).
  • Send a rishta to extort, defraud, or harass any user.
  • Share another user's personal information without their consent.
  • Attempt to bypass security controls, rate limits, or moderation.
  • Include contact details (phone numbers, emails, social media handles) in any text field. WhatsApp numbers are exchanged only after both sides accept a rishta.

3. Cost

Mayo Rishtay is currently free to join and use. We may introduce optional paid features in the future; if we ever do, it will be shown clearly and be entirely your choice. We will never charge a hidden fee. Anyone asking you for money to find, arrange, or “unlock” a rishta is a scammer — do not pay them. Block and report them, and email us at hello@mayorishtay.com.

4. Moderation

  • Profiles go live instantly after submission.
  • Profile text is automatically scanned for profanity, scam phrases, and contact information.
  • Profiles reported by multiple users may be automatically suspended pending review.
  • We may suspend or delete any profile, at our sole discretion, with or without notice or reason.
  • You may appeal a suspension by emailing hello@mayorishtay.com.

5. WhatsApp introductions are between families — not us

When you and another user both accept a rishta, your WhatsApp numbers are revealed to each other. From that moment, everything that follows is entirely between you and the other family — all conversations, sharing of photos, meetings, financial matters, engagement, nikah, marriage, and any dispute or outcome whatsoever. Mayo Rishtay is not a party to it, does not introduce, mediate, monitor, or supervise it, and accepts no responsibility or liability of any kind for anything that happens on or off the platform.

6. Your data

See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data. You can edit, pause, or permanently delete your profile at any time from your profile edit page.

7. No verification, no warranties — do your own due diligence

  • The platform is provided strictly on an “as is” and “as available” basis, with no warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not verify the identity, age, marital status, biodata, character, background, conduct, or intentions of any user beyond email sign-in and community reporting. Profiles may be inaccurate, misleading, or fake.
  • You are solely responsible for verifying any person — and for involving your family — before communicating, meeting, sharing anything, sending money, or proceeding toward marriage. Always do your own due diligence.
  • You use Mayo Rishtay entirely at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability & indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mayo Rishtay and its owners, operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind whatsoever — whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, financial, emotional, reputational, or otherwise — arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the platform, your interactions with any user, the conduct of any user, or anything that occurs on or off the platform. Your sole and exclusive remedy for any dissatisfaction is to stop using the platform and delete your account.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mayo Rishtay and its owners and operators from and against any claim, demand, loss, or liability arising from your use of the platform or your conduct toward any user.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

10. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Pakistan. Nothing in these terms shall be read to impose any obligation or liability on Mayo Rishtay or its operators beyond the minimum the law strictly requires.
